Shopify Affiliates

The Shopify Partner Program consists of designers, developers, and creatives building ecommerce websites, themes, and apps using the Shopify platform. We offer our partners three great ways to grow their business and generate ongoing monthly revenue. As a Shopify Partner, you can:

• Refer clients to Shopify;
• Create ecommerce themes and publish them in the Shopify Theme Store;
• Create Shopify Apps and publish them in the Shopify App Store.

When you sign up for the Shopify Affiliate Program we’ll give you a special link to Shopify that you can share through an ad, Facebook post, on your blog, a tweet – however you choose! Commission Payout is 200% Per Sale. Per-sale commissions mean that you earn 200% of a merchant’s subscription fee each time you refer someone to Shopify. You can make up to $598 per sale on standard plans and up to $1,500 on our Enterprise plan! Payments are issued 100% for month 1 paid and 100% for month 2. This also means that if they upgrade or downgrade their plan during that time, the commission will reflect that.

We maintain a 30-day cookie, meaning that if a visitor clicks on a link from your site, you will be credited with the referral as long as the visitor signs up for a free trial within 30 days. Once that free trial ends and the user becomes a paying customer at any time, you earn your commissions.

For all credits created between the 1st to and including the 15th of the month, payment will occur 5 business days after the 15th day of the month. For all credits created between the 16th to and including the last day of the month, payment will occur 5 business days after the last day of the month.
