The Weak Point

Access to either Yield or SSP requires submitting a request form and getting approved before onboarding starts — there's no instant self-serve signup the way smaller ad networks offer. That affects publishers specifically, since advertisers interact with the platform through existing DSP relationships rather than a comparable application gate.

Sixty-plus demand partners running in parallel auction is a meaningfully larger pool than most mid-sized SSPs offer publishers competing for the same inventory.
